Ten Years Earlier

I’ve been writing since seventh grade. It was that English teacher, whose name I forget, that got me into it, that pointed my creativity towards the written word. Since then I have moved from poetry, into short stories, into other writing venues, and back into poetry. More than a decade later, I’m still at it, and now making it possible for others to do so as well.

I say all of this because my birthday is this month. I turn twenty-four on the twenty-first. You’ll notice in a few weeks that I have a story coming out that day. Sometimes it’s nice being in control of when things come out.

It’s a long way away from where I started, writing chains of haikus, to where I am now, is breathtaking when you take it on the whole. I’m no longer that little twelve year old any more, but a man, who with an exceptional friend, have made this site for all of you to enjoy and express yourselves on. I hope you all love it as much as I do.
