Ode to That Girl (On the Train who looks just like You)

This is

Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center

Transfer is available to

The past?

Can I catch the

one two three to

when you and me

had

bliss by the baleful?

Because, that girl

who

just boarded

looks

just like you.

All edges and angles.

All legs and

snarl.

All pheromones and

fuck-you-femininity.

I stare

long

longing for a love that

got off

at Sterling street,

where everything still

shimmers.
