Grandma Time

I will rock in my rocker

until the last comet knocks me out,

knitting together past, present, future

in one fabric

to cover us

when the cold becomes unbearable

in the cosmic night.

Some say I have lived too long.

Others say Time is always fresh.

The rocker rocks.

I laugh at all their thoughts.

I have seen enough

to know

more light years

await me.
